Peter Kuria (BSC Agric) is the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at African Conservation Tillage Network (ACT) since 2017. Previously he was the Programme Officer at ACT since 2010. Before joining ACT Peter worked with the Ministry of Agriculture, Kenya for 13 years (1997-2010) and with the Ministry of Education for 5 years (1993-1997). While at the Ministry of Agriculture he coordinated the implementation of the CASARD project in Nakuru County and was also a Farmer Field School (FFS) trainer. At ACT he has coordinated the implementation of various Conservation Agriculture (CA) and regenerative agriculture projects since 2010 in Kenya. He has also established a lot of Networks with other organizations promoting CA activities in Africa. He has a wide experience in farmer mobilization and training on Advocacy, CA and Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA).
